Can you run bear with hounds in New York?

My fiance just got a job in Rochester New York, and I was wondering if you could run hounds in New York on bear. I figure I will be making my way up there often over the next year and a half, thought I might mix in a little hunting while I was up there. I see there are bear there, but havent seen anything on whether you can use hounds or not. Does anybody know? Thanks.

training season only with special permit. certain parts of the state. rochester area isnt best place to find bear.. send me a pm and i'll give u more info.
