How did you guys do in the deer hunt that just got done?I finally seen a deer on friday after thanksgiving. My group got one deer for six hunters.The ol' dnr hit it right on the head or was it hit there head on this one.
Gun season is always hit or miss, the thing that scares me is the lack of deer that we saw during bow season. It is absolutely pathetic, they say back in '94 there was about 400,000 deer in WI and now there is 1.7 Million so where are they?? I know back in the 90's it was normal to see 10+ every night, now there are lots of deerless nights. Part of there logic comes from things like "the number of car-deer accidents has doubled in the last 10 years" so they figure well the deer herd must have doubled. ***Or is it the number of cars on the roads??
