looking for a big game bread hound to run coyotes in ontario

I am looking for a big game bread hound perferably plott to run coyotes in ontario. Have plenty of hot nosed walkers right now but looking for a cold nosed big hound that I can hear. Something that you put his head in the track and he will git up on it. Dont want anyones culls.....

You might want to check out the Blue Gascons. Very cold nosed, large in body and good endurance. There are breeders in the States or I might be doing a breeding in a week or two. Go on my profile and you'll find my e-mail address, I can send you pictures.

You won,t like the other hounds.
Plott crossed on the running dogs are the best coyote dogs going today in the snow country in my opion.

Explain your reasoning why you believe what you believe if you dont mind. I would like to read what your thoughts are on this subject again. Explain what each breed brings to the table in your opinion and what each breed takes away from the other if you dont mind. I like talkin about this subject with you.

The reason I would like the plotts is that it seems like the foxhound bread everyone is breeding for hot nose and speed for pen running. Hard to find anyone who has any hounds for the outside. That is why i am looking for plott. I dont have any experience with them but researching them is what the grit and endurance i want in my hounds.

What part of Ontario are you in? We have cur dogs, not hounds...

big dogs like gascons wont CATCH a yote
will run em sure

but if you wants dogs that'll catch a yote you need runnin dogs
but if your not lookin for run to catch dogs and are interested in the trail and hearing dogs work besides catchin and killing coyotes might as well experiment with different ones
