Re: Alisson Plotts
Greg Anderson is, but I don't remember what he goes by. What do you want to know?
Marion Allison is a friend of mine. I can attest that whatever he tells you YOU CAN count on!
I had just had my own litter last year or I would have one here now.
Good Luck!

I own a male pup from Mr. Allison. He is only 8 months old but loves a coon. He isn't treeing yet but that's my fault. I've had a broken leg and not been able to really work with him like I want. What few coons I've turned out to him he's ran by sight and stood under the tree until he gets bored. He will bay up a cow and catch one too. He really likes to grab em by the nose when they stick their heads down while he's harrassing them. I'm giong to have to break him off the cows before he gets stronger and hurts one. I had a friend of mine lead him into a bear tree last month and when he got there the bear jumped out and he cut my pup loose. He said he left with the older dogs but we didn't get him back. A man said he saw my pup 3 miles across the ridge that night. The next morning I picked him up where we cut the track at. He had made it back by himself. Not bad for a pup. Mr. Allisons' pups have the drive and want to. It's just up to the owner to get em into what they need to be doing.
Mr Allison and his wife are both fine people. When I went over to pick up my pup he made me feel right at home.
Does he have some pups for sale now?? I haven't called him in a while.

I have three dogs that come from that line of breeding. I was just wonering if anyone else on this site was running the same. I am really impressed with what I have seen out these dogs.

Nuff said!! Marion's line of dogs are right up there in the top 3 -4 lines I'd direct people to that were looking for run to catch AND WITH SOME BRAINS included!
Glad you guys are all thrilled with yours at this point.
I'll be sure to let Marion know when I talk to him next.
Take it easy!

Re: Alisson Plotts
Marion inherited most if not all of his Uncle Kermit's dogs. Kermit's since passed away.

Catch, I don't have a pedegree just going on what I have been told by the guy I got the dogs from. The dogs go back to a Weems and Allison cross.

PLOTT88,
If your dogs look like your partners, I would like them a lot. I posted a question on another site after I saw them, asking about the foundation to the Allison line, and stated on there the ones I saw were damn good looking dogs. Full Allison or not, I wouldn't care, they seem to be getting it done, and look good doing it. And none of us Plott guys have anything against a little Weems blood.
