Q about tranning hounds

I have two male BT hounds and one is 2 and my 2nd one is 1 years old.I have been running them on lion,bear,and bobcat sense trails since november every weekend and i can not get them to open up on a track so my Q? do you hounds men have any suggestions for you me?

run your dogs with dogs that do what you want them to do, they will learn from thier peers but you also have to look at what kind of stock your dogs come from....do thier parents do that?

I would say you need to get them on some game. Forget about the drags for now. At one and two years old, they need experience with real critters. Maybe some rollcage time to get them more fired up. As nmplott mentioned, also some time with some more experienced dogs wouldn't hurt them also.
