Rat set

Post by skyhigh »

This set works good on rats and I have got mink off it too. I used 2x2 and to make the frame and plywood is best for the platform. Bait with a chunk of apple on top of the nail.
Pound into the bank of the creek so that the trap is covered by water. You can also set a trap on the land side of the set.

I have used this set for years. It works great where the bank is a little steep. Nice post.
