just wanted to say "hi" again and am glad the site is back up. I've got two walkers that i bought off of this site and hope to get them out a lot more this season. One is a pup that I got last year from ladycathunter in southern oregon (thanks Melanie!) and he is really starting to come on. lookin to find someone to occaisionnly hunt with around here...sucks going by yourself all the time. I've got Friday, Saturday and Sundays off work so should be able to get into the woods a lot this year. If anyone lookin for someone to tag along give me a shout, don't mind the drive just lookin for some other hound hunters to share a good time.

welcome to the site, What do you live in Washington??.. We live just north of Battleground..(Vancouver area)..

Pretty much are in the woods every weekend or day we have off work, sept to march..

I live in McKenna which is between Olympia and Tacoma...Mel, spent the last couple of days chasing elk around myself...gettin close but no shot yet. Let me know how Nick did

I am getting a dog from mel too. I live in central OR send me a pm with your # and I will send you mine. I'm just getting started (all young dogs) but my partner has some nice dogs and we are always looking for more folks to tag along. We will be hunting between Bend and Fort Rock its a bit far for you but if you dont mind the drive than come on down.

hey brew, who are you hunting with if anyone. I grew up in Eatonville. Plenty of people with hounds around there. Not sure if they are on the internet though.

hey bearkiller, that is just the thing, I don't have anyone to hunt with....I've got a couple of guys that say the want to hunt with me (they don't have dogs) but when it comes time to go they say that they can't for some reason or another....just kinda lookin for someone to go with every once in a while

Got a report that Nick's brother got a 320class bull.. Nick says they have heard a lot of elk but he hasn't seen anything great yet..

hey thats great...heading out this morning for a week in the woods myself. weather has finally turned so hopefully no more 85 degree days...supposed to rain on and off the next few days so that should make it a little better
