Re: Rain
You just never know. We were out last Sunday and we had a cloud burst. The dogs were on a track which they lost. We loaded them up and were on a hot track an hour later. We later caught that bear in the rain.

Re: Rain
I think Bisons got it right, you never know. Days I swore you could never strike a bear because of the rain, and we are rigging them everywhere.Pouring rain that you just knew was going to wash out the track and sometimes they run it like they are looking at it.Other days the dogs are running hot and you know they are about ready to catch, a downpour comes and pretty soon they are just boo hooing like they are half a day behind. So "you never know" sounds like the right answer to me.
One thing I have learned about hunting in the rain that is a sure thing, you will get wet.
