Great site!

I'm looking for a poem/story I read a few yrars ago on the old shadetree site about a lost hound. Cany anyone direct me to it please?

you need to give me more information then that. I looked into the archivces and could not locate any poem with that little information.

It wasn't so much of a poem it was more of an ode to a lost hound. It talked about a hound wandering along a road long after the hunt was over. It asked the reader to think about the hound, the houndsman that owned it and the blood sweat and tears that went into training, feeding, rasing the hound and the bond between the hunter and his hound. I talks about how the hound would be sadly missed and that the houndsman continuing his search for as long as it takes.

I know the information I have is not all that specific but it was a long time ago I read the post. I hope you can find it for me.
