getting a pup and some of them have com down with parvo they give them the shot a few day ago and they said mine has no semptoms of parvo how long should i wait to see if it gets it of will the shot end it any help would be great

I highly recommend that you do not accept a puppy that has had Parvo even tho it may have seemed to "recover". IMO (and experience) I believe that Parvo and/or the treatment to cure it many times damages a dog's immune system. Such damage may not manifest it's self until later in life when the dog is unable to fight off other problems.

7 to 10 days after contact is usually the norm for parvo. The shot wont stop parvo if he already has it.
