I am looking at buying some of the brand new design marshall collars, does any one out there use them and what do they think?

They're top notch.

I run the astro as well.

I just switched from johnson to all marshall, I like them.I also run garmin astro collars but the astro looses the dogs signal alot.So i have to beep the marshalls. They give off a very good signal.

Ive been running some marshall collars this summer alongside of my Quick Track collars. The Marshal coolars are very strong but take a bit of getting used to. What I like about quick Trac collars is the faster cadence of the beeps. I feel you can get a true direction quicker with them than the slower cadence of the Marshall collars. Warning system that the batterys are getting low wrks good on the marshall .... has an exterior light that you can turn on that really wrks nice at night. Short story is that as my Quick Trac collars go dead, Ive been replacing them with the marshall so that says something about where im going with my collars.

Marshals are a bit pricy but probably worth it in the long run.

They are good collars but not my favorite! I had all marshalls but if any of your hunting crew has another brand of collar its gonna throw you way off getting to them! They are real stout! But we had a dog on close range hollaring for him and another member of our crew caught him almost 3/4 of a mile away! It takes alot of getting use to! Its not the inability to track just the lack of balance between systems! Johnsons are what i prefer matched with a wildlife box!
