I'm stumped
I have a 7 year old male plott that's in good health hunted hard all season and went on the chain last week after the season closed. He was fine yesterday when I fed but, this morning he can't get up in his rear legs. His legs are drawn up and stiff and can't support any weight. He can feel me ...

Tennessee Oct season
Both my kids were able to take their first bears this year and what a blast we had. My 14 year old daughter was the first shooter since she's logged over 100 foot miles with me over 2 hunting and training seasons. Last year we never could get her on one during the time off school that she had. The ...

Tn season
Well, the TN bear season has been pretty good for myself and my dogs so far. My shooters have taken a few and we've let several go and several have gotten away either into the park or safety zones. The biggest bear treed I would guess was over 300# but didn't get killed due to the shooter and, only ...

Packs
What kind of back packs does everyone carry while hunting? I hunt mostly alone and therefore have to pack out anything over 125 lbs a load at a time. I have an Alaskan pack that I use for camp hunting but, it's WAY to big for a "day pack". I'm looking for a light weight day pack that I can carry all ...

More DC 50 reviews
First, I want to talk about the 320 hand held and batteries. The Lithium batteries don't last any long than regular alkaline batteries for me and I've yet to find any rechargable batteries that last as long as either of those two. About 12 max on both the Lithium and Alkaline and less than 10 on the ...

Re: TN training season opening day
Oh, I forgot to tell about this litter of pups. Last year my friend picked up a female Plott and brought her to my farm to try her out. We ran her solo for a while and she done ok but, didn't tree anything. He asked me to put my male Allison Plott with her and see if he could find anything ... yad ...

TN training season opening day
Training season opened in parts of TN yesterday and I had a pretty good day. I might as well tell up front that I wasn't prepared and forgot the camera at the house, which really sucked.
I free hunt my dogs and no they aren't 100% straight bear dogs and they will run a hog and my old dog will tree ...

Re: My DC 50 review so far 8/23 update
I finally got a chance to hit the woods and really test the DC 50 and it really impressed me.
The old DC 30's had a hard time catching a signal at my friends house so that's where I turned the 50's on and they caught a sat. in no time flat. The 30's never caught a sat. until we made it to the ...

My DC 50 review so far 8/23 update
I want to first give a big thanks to Buddy and DUSupply.com, they done a great job in getting me this system. I knew there was a back order for the DC 50's but, I ordered through them any ways. I sent buddy a few emails inquiring as to how long everything was looking and within no time I would get a ...

Fired up
I'm not one to order new stuff as I usually just find a good used model on something and save a few pennies but, with my other collars all getting older and the 220 not picking up my collars at all AND with all the good reviews that you guys were posting on DUsupplys.com I bit the bullet and ordered ...

Re: blackmouth curs
I used to have Ladner Black mouth curs. The first 2 that I owned were by far the fastest pups that I've every owned to tree their own coon solo. The male was totally silent and barely barked on tree where as the female was silent on track and counted them off on tree. The male would catch anything ...

Tri Tronics not charging
I have a 6 dog trash breaker system and 2 of the collars aren't charging. I know all the chargers are working because I've checked them with the working collars. The 2 collars that aren't working are getting hot. Has the batteries gone bad or is it something else?

DC 30 comm's lost
I done a search and couldn't find my exact problem so I will ask it now.
I was actually looking at the 220 when the dog shook in the box and the collar lost signal. The next day the collar came up and comm's came back up so I turned him loose but, lost it at 300 yrds. I assumed that it broke the ...

Re: Gps in Cali
Pete- I mean you no disrespect but, from what I've saw and how they do to you guys I don't believe that they would have any problem at all releaving you of that leash from your cold, dead fingers. As a matter of fact that would just make their job easier in that there was just one less houndsmen to ...
