Re: cost to have a horse/mule per month

This poem comes to mind:

FREE HORSES

This is the sad saga, of being gifted a hoss,
And how much an asset, quickly converts to a loss.

My downfall began with a flea bitten mare,
Overweight, sway-backed and passin bad air.

By a past “friend ...

Re: cost to have a horse/mule per month

$100 bucks a month in billings, that covers pasture in the summer, feed in the winter, all shots and hoof work is on me, thats about as cheap as i have found here, there are places that will charge $200 a month just for a stall, no thanks, i like my horse out on grass

Re: Lion kill

I don't know much at all about lions, or there behavior around kills, but I watched a special on national geographic and they had lions on game cameras on kills in heavily populated wolf country. The lion would kill a deer , lap up all the blood ( blood apparently has a high percentage of water in ...

Re: coon hunting handguns

I hunt with guys that use hand guns, mostly .22 and with all the ammo they have wasted trying to knock coons out with those miserable things they could have bought a nice .22 rifle. I cant hit shit with a pistol so i stick to my .22 rifle.

it does suck packing around a rifle on your back with all ...

Re: Too many coon?

If there are litters of baby coon on the ground it can mess with dogs as far as having an over whelming amount of scent and not being able to line out on one particular coon. it can be hard on some dogs.
