thats a polor bear painted black,600 plus for sure.

i use a marlin 45/70,hits hard,never had one run too far.

you might try hawthornes,they are equally good as whites,but alittle cheaper

a good hog dog,could be a dead bear dog.

i take the young hound and put him up on the box with the older hound,and i will start a track with both of them together.

you live where theres snow,so why rig,just look down at the snow.its not that hard to see a bobcat track.
