Re: barrel doghouse designs
Heres one of mine.
I have a steep hill in the back yard and I bury them in the ground. Helps for insulation.

Re: What is your favorite?
Bobcats would be my favorite. I night-hunted them exclusively for years before I got into hounds.
There are a lot of dumb bobcats and a lot of very smart bobcats. The smart bobcats are where the fun is at. Funner races for me, as you can see your dogs running
that bobs crazy path. When it all ...

Buddies top dog is very tree aggressive
Some how or another we end up running into one of our buddies in the mountains and his lead dog is very tree aggressive. We have seen him fight others dogs off the tree. Personally I won't hunt with him and I head elsewhere.
What would you do if you got to a tree and your dog (s) are fighting with ...

Re: Grade Lion Hounds
Here's my dog Blucifer. He's out of Jeff Allans stuff. Been on quite a few lions, does pretty good on bears too. In CA I'm limited to my out of state lion hunts.
I look for grit and speed and he's got that. He puts his nose the ground and goes.

Wolves Kill hounds
This is a horrid story. Pictures are graphic.
A buddy sent me the link- I have no affiliation to these guys. But my heart goes out to them. I can't imagine walking up to my hounds and seeing a sight like this.

Re: my Jeff allen bred dogs
I picked up one of these old strained hounds last summer from Jeff/James. He's about 2 or so.
He started striking from the box a couple weeks ago and he has one heck
of cold nose. Badarse little dog. Thanks James!
