So do any of yall guys run jackrabbits before the season? Here in Oklahoma i started two nights ago to get my dogs back in shape. I was just wondering if any of yall ran them to get em in shape or if you just found a yote hissed em up and sent em.

Personally i catch and hobble my hogs because we have a buyer that buys every hog i catch from me so i have a good reason to keep them alive. The only time i use my knife is when we get in a bind or get a dog cut up and need to do a little stitchin. And most of the time ill turn a pregnant sow go ...

Ive been hunting for about 5 years now and have had only one bay dog that i ran a bay vest on. Hes was pretty much a run bay catch dog or a stop dog if you will. I think in my opinion its alright for a dog to be a little open. I hood hunt in Oklahoma and we have a lot of flat ground with creeks runnin through the fields and its hard to keep up with a dog thats running a pig if they dont track bark at all. I get tired of pullin out the tracker every two ...
