Several years before finding this track, I watched, from a mile away, what I thought at the time to be a wovlerine loping accross a high tundra hillside. I was almost positive it was a wolverine at the time. This track was only a few miles away and I was minutes behind him. I knew the DOW biologist at the time and we sent these pics to one of thier 'experts' to verify it was a wovlerine track. They did and came back the next day and set up trail cameras in the area but never got a pic. I've since heard of two other sightings in the area here around my place since.

Dan, it looks like you are way ahead of most hunters in the track finding area. Turn that dog loose, and go catchem. Here is the track we ran a couple Sundays ago.

This bear crapped in the same place in the road three nights in a row. There was a spring right beside the road. Had to make room for water.

I see the coyotes are getting a bad rap with no pics. Feel free to use this as a flash card for the hounds. Either gettem or bad dog!lol
