BigGameHunter wrote:Well the training season here in Utah has come to an end and it ended on a sad note for me. Went out this morning and ran a bear that ended up killing one of the best early starting dogs I have owned. My little Tick dog would have turned 1 on Oct 31 but didn't make it that long. When I got to her she was half dead already with her guts laid open and before I could carry her all the way back to the truck she died.
She was one heck of a dog for only being 10 months old. She made every bear tree but one during this summer training season. This sucks.
I hope all the rest of you have a little better luck.
Sorry for your loss. I know it wont help but at least she went out doing what she loved to do
