My friend has one they seem to work great, at times you can loose signal but can aquire it pretty easily from a high point. We had the unit stolen off the lead dog along with another tracking collar, shock collar, collar with personal info on it. To top it off it was done by a local outfitter. It is just a matter of time that the turn the GPS on and it links with the unit and bam we have the coordinates.

Garmin has held up any more releases of the DC30 due to some software issues. Seems that the Astro will only show one collar on the map page at a time. It should show all collars that are turned on. They are close to releasing the DC30s with the software update. If you have any of the first DC30s released and are using two at a time, check to see if they both show up on the tracking page.

Has anyone figured out a good way to tell the collars apart, they are all the same color. I was going to use duct tape unless someone has a better idea.
