Re: Really bad day and alot of unanswered questions!

I am not commenting on this kill because I wasn't there, but I would like to make two points.

Re: ALL BOBCAT HUNTERS

Live trap a wild barn cat and put some Grawes bobcat trainning scent on it. Work the dog on the caged cat to get it fired up and then drag it away and turn it loose. Give it ten minutes and then release the dogs.

Once they learn that cats are game animals then it is just a matter of hunting. If ...

Re: Do i have the right stuff to start bobcat hunting

in my expierence the only dogs that do well on bobcats everyday are dogs that are only on bobcats.

I dissagree. You can hunt a dog on bear for two years and then one day run it on cat and it likes cat better. Some dogs are crazy for cats regardless of what else you run them on.

Some of this ...

If the majority of the bear registered are registered as hound kill, it will appear that hound hunting is the most effective management tool for bear populations. That is better than twelve percent which appears to be an insignificant tool for bear management.

the truck you are driving looks five years older than it is.
